Remembering January 27th 1945, the day of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp, each year in Bra for Holocaust Memorial Day different events are planned.
– Thursday 24th January at 8 pmCinema Vittoria di via Cavour: “Schindler’s List” movie directed by Steven Spielberg.
– Saturday 26th January at 3,30 pm “Un sacchetto di biglie”, free entrance.
– Sunday 27th Free guided tour of ancient Cherasco synagogue. Leaving from Bra by bus at 9,30 (reservation required at 0172 430185). At 3,30 pm at Cinema Impero docufilm “Chi scriverà la nostra storia” by Robert Grossman. Free entrance. Same show on monday 28th at 8 pm at Cinema Impero
Holocaust Memorial Day is organized by Comune di Bra with “Comitato cittadino per l’affermazione dei valori del 27 gennaio, 10 febbraio e 25 aprile”, “Comitato cittadino 50×150” e l’Istituto storico della Resistenza di Cuneo “Dante Livio Bianco”.
