The theater was inaugurated on the 1st of September 1900 with the performance of “Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi. Along the years a lot of famous artists, such as Alberto Lupo, Giulietta Masiero, Roberto Benigni and Dario Fo, have been acted on its stage. After a long closure and a big renovation, the theater was re-opened to the public on 4th of May 2004 and newly inaugurated with a great concert by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Turiner Teatro Regio.
